TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE
The lodge is located in the National Park which
is one of Tanzania’s most easily accessible
conservation areas. Getting there is pleasant
enough with plentiful game to be viewed on the
way. There are 75 suites offering a bedroom with
two queen size beds, private lounge with mini
bar, ensuite bathroom and private veranda with
stunning views over the baobab studded
landscape. Polished marble floors and full air
conditioning creates a wonderfully cool
atmosphere. |

SWALA TENTED CAMP
Swala's 9 private, permanent tents feature
ensuite bathrooms with showers, complemented by
fittings and fixtures crafted from local
materials to mirror the understated elegance of
the time-honoured safari style. The elevated
terraces on the tents are appointed towards the
waterhole that attracts wildlife year-round to
ensure that your African wildlife experiences do
not finish when you leave your vehicle. This
picturesque safari hideaway is exclusive in the
southwestern corner of Tarangire National Park,
affording guests private game viewing and
wilderness luxury. |

OLIVERS CAMP
Oliver's Camp is situated in the remote
south-eastern part of the park, in the middle of
Tarangire's unspoilt wilderness. Featuring only
8 beautifully furnished tents with wooden
furniture and outdoor showers, the camp is
ideally placed to access the yearly migrations
of wildlife. Every evening, guests relax or read
in the lounge and library tent, or drink
sundowners at the fireplace, from which superb
views of landscape and sunset can be enjoyed.
This area offers the best chance of seeing lion,
leopard and cheetah and, especially during the
dry season, the swamps are filled with elephant,
buffalo and zebra. Walking safaris, fly camping
and off-road open 4X4 driving are possible in
the area around the camp. |

TARANGIRE TREETOPS
Treetops is an exciting camp inside the
Tarangire Conservation Area, providing 20 luxury
en-suite rooms in wooden-thatched treehouses
built upon platforms around ancient old Baobab
and Mopani trees, overlooking the Tarangire Sand
River. Each unit has a private veranda and
lounge area, with sweeping views The central
dining area provides a comfortable and sociable
centre to gather after safaris, close to the
swimming pool and water hole. The camp also
offers night drives and game walks, including a
special trail for mountain biking. |

DAY 1 – ARUSHA -
TARANGIRE .
Arrive Arusha in time for lunch. This afternoon transfer
to Tarangire National Park. Afternoon Game drive.
Overnight Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar (LD)
DAY 2 – TARANGIRE – LAKE MANYARA
Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park.
After lunch at the lodge, drive to Lake Manyara to join
up with main tour. (BL)
