SOUTH AFRICA
The 75,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve is situated
in the far north of the North Western Province on the
Botswana border.
The reserve consists of vast plains of open woodlands
and grasslands, bordered in the south by the Dwarsberg
Mountains The Park was created in 1991, when the largest
translocation of animals on record took place, with the
introduction of over 10,000 animals into the reserve.
Today Madikwe is regarded as one of the finest
conservation areas in southern Africa, offering luxury
bush accommodation as well as the "Big Five" in a
Malaria-free environment.
Located just two hours by road from Sun City or a 45
minute direct flight from Johannesburg, makes this game
reserve easily accessible. |

At the edge of the Marico River and under a
grove of Tamboti and Marula trees , you will find
Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge.
Traversing over 75,000 hectares of true, untamed Africa
and set in magnificent koppies , the luxurious
air-conditioned suites are ingeniously placed amongst
the boulders each designed for complete comfort.
The unusual, yet subtle décor integrates with colours
highlighting Africa’s natural elements. Morning and
evening game drives are taken in open 4X4 safari
vehicles as well as guided bush walks.
Additional facilities include a fully equipped gym and health spa, an African library, a rustic boma and an outdoor deck where breakfast is served.
Children of all ages are welcomed
and where needed, baby sitting can be arranged.
