MADIKWE GAME RESERVE
SOUTH AFRICA
The 75,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve is situated
in the far north of the North Western Province on the
Botswana border.
The reserve consists of vast plains of open woodlands
and grasslands, bordered in the south by the Dwarsberg
Mountains The Park was created in 1991, when the largest
translocation of animals on record took place, with the
introduction of over 10,000 animals into the reserve.
Today Madikwe is regarded as one of the finest
conservation areas in southern Africa, offering luxury
bush accommodation as well as the "Big Five" in a
Malaria-free environment.
Located just two hours by road from Sun City or a 45
minute direct flight from Johannesburg, makes this game
reserve easily accessible. |

MADIKWE GAME RESERVE - SOUTH AFRICA
The privately owned lodge is built around an
ancient termite mound, featuring 8 large rooms. All
rooms are built with thatched roofs, canvas walls and
large tented windows to create a true safari atmosphere.
The main lodge consists of a spacious lounge and open
plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the bush,
an enclosed boma where guests can eat under the stars,
and a swimming pool.
The Tree Lodge consists of 8 tree houses built above the
ground, each encompassing a giant Tambotie or Leadwood
tree.
All have open plan ensuite bathrooms with a large stone
bath and outside shower, and deck.
Access to the Main Lodge is on raised wooden walkways.
Children of all ages are welcome.
