Masai Mara is known for having the largest concentration of wildlife per sq/km of any reserve or National Park in Kenya. These vast rolling plains are split only by the lush woodland groves that line the banks of the Mara River. For game viewing there are few places in the world that can beat this wonderful reserve.

DAY 1 – NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA
After breakfast you fly across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Reserve. Lunch in Little Governors Camp. Afternoon game drive. Overnight: Little Governors Camp.(D)

DAY 2 - MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK.
OPTIONAL EARLY MORNING BALLON RIDE AT EXTRA COST
Spend the whole day observing wild animals in the Masai Mara game reserve. The Masai Mara offers an experience you will remember for the rest of your life. The large concentration of game has earned the Reserve the reputation as the most prolific game viewing spot in Africa. Overnight: Little Governors Camp (BLD).

DAY 3 - MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI
Catch the morning flight to Nairobi, where you can join another safari itinerary, fly down to Mombasa (at extra charge) or connect with your onward flight. (B)

Migration The biggest annual event in Kenya is the migration, where huge herds of wildebeest head from Tanzania’s Serengeti National park into Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of greener pastures.

Entering Kenya in late July/August each year, more than 2 million of these animals migrate across the Mara River accompanied by zebras, antelopes, gazelles and lions. In October/November the animals return to the short grass plains. The highlight of the migration is watching the animals crossing the Mara river in Kenya.
