Days 6 & 7: Hwange National Park - Chizarira National Park

After breakfast depart to Chizarira National Park, a little gem hidden away in the northern area of Zimbabwe, away from the busier areas. The Park is situated on top of the great Zambezi Escarpment overlooking the Zambezi Valley and the upper waters of Lake Kariba, and because of its wild and remote nature, the tranquility and rugged beauty of Chizarira National Park is unequalled. Spend two nights here at Wilderness Chizarira Lodge with game drives into the park. (BLD)

Days 8 & 9: Chizarira National Park - Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park

Depart after breakfast, for a long day’s drive through spectacular countryside, rural villages and small towns enroute for the small town of Kariba, stopping for picnic lunch. Take a boat across the lake to the eco-friendly Rhino Island Lodge where two nights are spent enjoying time on the lake in boats (fishing, cruising or game viewing) or enjoying game drives in open vehicles. (BLD)

Days 10 to 12: Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park - Mana Pools

Today head back to Kariba by boat, where you will embark on the final section of the safari to the unique Mana Pools, a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Three nights will be spent here under canvas where game drives are taken as well as an optional canoeing safari on the Lower Zambezi River if pre-booked. (BLD)

Day 13: Mana Pools - Harare

Today drive to Harare, arriving late afternoon and end of safari. (BL)
