Travelling through the game parks of the Masai Mara, Samburu and the Rift Valley, you will experience the fascinating world of Africa’s animals, as well as encounter the cultural side and witness first hand some of the many tribes in the region. Travel north from here to Egypt and experience a different culture and history and step back in time to the days of the Pharaohs and life on the River Nile in Ancient Egypt.

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival in Nairobi transfer to the Panafric Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

This morning with your driver/guide drive into the homelands of the Masai, where the Masai Mara Game Reserve constitutes the northern stretch of the Serengeti and has the richest concentration of animals in Kenya. Overnight at the Mara Sarova Tented Camp. (BLD)

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in search of the “Big Five” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Overnight Mara Sarova Tented Camp. (BLD)

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your journey takes you to Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos and pelicans. The park also boasts rhinos as well as a large population of leopard. Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge. (BLD)

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Take an early morning game drive before a short drive to Lake Naivasha and possibly the best views in Africa overlooking the stunning Great Rift Valley. Overnight at The Great Rift Valley Lodge. (BLD)

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Shaba Game Reserve

Drive to Shaba Game Reserve, situated in the dry area of Northern Kenya, where the nomad tribes, the Samburus, the Rendilles and the Boran live. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge. (BLD)

Day 7: Shaba & Samburu Game Reserves

Enjoy a full day of game drives in this beautiful area. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge. (BLD)

Day 8: Samburu to Nairobi to Cairo

Drive back to Nairobi and connect with your flight to Cairo. On arrival you are met and transferred to the Sonesta Cairo Hotel for overnight stay. (B)

Days 9 & 10: Cairo

Enjoy a full day of privately guided sightseeing to the Egyptian Museum and Pyramids, and a second day at leisure. Overnight at Sonesta Cairo. (BL)

Day 11: Cairo to Aswan

Transfer to airport for flight to Aswan, and on arrival transfer to cruise boat for Nile cruise to Luxor. Overnight Farah Nile Cruise. (BLD)

Days 12 & 13: Nile Cruise

Enjoy the scheduled sightseeing activities visiting the many temples and tombs along the way. Overnight Farah Nile Cruise. (BLD)

Day 14: Luxor to Cairo

Disembarkation and transfer to Luxor Airport for flight to Cairo, and end of arrangements. (B)
