The cultural and artistic heritage of Morocco dates back over a thousand years with its African, European and Arabic influences. Explore this exciting destination of historical and colourful culture, traditions and imperial cities. Travel through Berber villages, trek in the Atlas Mountains and climb the dunes on the edge of the vast Sahara Desert. Stroll through the fascinating souqs and barter with the local shopkeepers, dine on the world famous and cuisine.

Day 1: Casablanca

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Casablanca - Midelt

After breakfast, enjoy a full day’s drive through a succession of towns to the agricultural plain of Beni-Mellal. Continue on a scenic road through the Atlas Mountains to Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Overnight at Hotel Taddart. (BLD)

Day 3: Midelt - Merzouga

This morning is a beautiful drive through the Talghoumt Pass and on to the ancient city of Errachidia in the Ziz Valley. Passing Kasbahs and palm groves continue to Erfoud, and on to the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, reaching up to 350m. Overnight at Auberge Tombouctou. (BLD)

Day 4: Merzouga

Today take a journey through the dunes and the Sahara Desert. Overnight at Auberge Tombouctou. (BLD)

Day 5: Boumalne Dades

Leave the dunes behind and cross the Atlas Mountains to reach the spectacular gorges of Todghra. Continue over the barren plateau to Dades Valley. Overnight at Xaluca Dades Hotel. (BLD)

Day 6: Boumalne - Marrakech

The drive today is along the foot of the mountains to Kelaa Mgouna, known for its annual rose festival. Continue through Ouarzazate, a major cultural centre, to the village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and setting for the film “Lawrence of Arabia”. Late afternoon drive through the Tizi N’Tichka mountain pass to Marrakech. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. (BLD)

Day 7: Marrakech

This morning enjoy a guided city tour with its historical sites of the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the Dar si Said museum, Bahia Palace, souks and the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. (BLD)

Day 8: Marrakech

For the last day in Marrakech enjoy a horse and carriage ride around the city walls of the medieval city. Visit Majorelle, the most famous garden in Marrakech, created by French artist, Jacques Majorelle, in the late 1920’s. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore, shop or enjoy one of the many spas. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. (BLD)

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast drive to the popular resort town of Essaouira, situated on the Atlantic Ocean with a bustling harbour and sandy beaches. Overnight at Sofitel Medina & Spa. (BLD)

Day 10: Essaouira – Casablanca

Today drive along the coast through the charming town of Safi, renowned for its arts and crafts. Continue through the former Portuguese fortified town of El Jadida, and on to Casablanca. Overnight at Hyatt Regency. (BLD)

Day 11: Departure
