The Sabie River has the highest recorded density of leopards in Africa. Tinga has two luxury lodges, Legends and Narina, both offering nine suites with private game viewing deck and plunge pool.

Legends exudes the atmosphere of a classic safari lodge with its thatched cathedral-like entrance leading through to the colonial comfort of the lounge, and deck overlooking the river. Built around an enormous Jackalberry tree which is reputed to be over 200 years old, the deck affords magnificent views of the area.

Narina has a distinctly more African feel, unobtrusive yet undeniably beautiful, blending perfectly with the riverine forest vegetation. The main deck is on stilts overlooking the river, and the suites are connected by an elevated wooden walkway.

Lion Sands has six different Lodges, Ivory Lodge, River Lodge, Lion Sands 1933, Tinga Legends and Tinga Narina, together with the latest addition - Madikwe Safari Lodge, each with their own unique style and experience.
