A children’s facility – the EleFun Centre, offers environmentally themed activities, including hands-on ‘edutainment’ for several distinct age groups, designed and supervised by qualified childcare professionals, for a fun filled bushveld experience.

Spanning a history over years, this world famous private reserve is situated in the southern section of the Greater Kruger National Park and is home to the “Big Five”, as well as cheetah, wild dog and hundreds of other species of wildlife. Sabi Sabi offers a luxury ‘home in the bush’ to guests from all over the world with warm service by dedicated staff, the majority of whom hail from the nearby villages, and who understand the importance of linking local communities with conservation and tourism.

Day 1: Mpumalanga Airport - Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

On arrival at Mpumalanga (KMIA) Airport you will be met and transferred to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. Dinner and overnight Bush Lodge. (LD)

Day 2: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

Full day of game activities as outlined below in the game reserve with all meals and overnight at Bush Lodge. The daily safari programme at Bush Lodge provides the perfect combination of thrilling wildlife activities, world-class accommodation, fine dining and absolute relaxation. An early morning call from the Ranger will wake you before first light, while the kitchen brews hot coffee or tea, and prepares cool fruit juices with a muffin, rusk or other freshly made delicacy. So begins the morning safari. Renowned for luxury experiences, Sabi Sabi isn't all about phenomenal game drives and exceptional dining. Opportunities for education and adventure are definitely on the cards for those interested and energetic. On the morning safari walk you can be part of a small group that sets out on foot after breakfast. The walk is an opportunity to feel the pulse of Africa through the soles of your feet and experience the bushveld at close quarters. Evening falls and you prepare for the night safari. As the fierce heat of the day cools, the inhabitants of the bush become restless, and the animals move out of the shade of the trees. There are numerous nocturnal hunters and on your evening safari, with the help of a spotlight, a leopard's eyes may reflect back from a nearby tree. Or you may be lucky enough to spot another smaller predator, a genet, African civet or African wildcat. Dinner and overnight Bush Lodge. (BLD)

Day 3: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve - Mpumalanga Airport

After breakfast you will be transferred to Mpumalanga (KMIA) Airport. (B)

Rovos Rail - Pretoria to Victoria Falls (vv)
