A trip to Egypt would not be complete without a cruise along the River Nile. Journey along the tranquil waters between Luxor and Aswan on board a cruise boat for three nights or longer with stops enroute at the many historical temples and monuments, passing local villages and taking a glimpse at the local life which has not changed too much over time.

Day 1: Cairo

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight: Grand Nile Tower Hotel.

Day 2: Pyramids, Memphis & Sakkara

Today enjoy a privately guided full day tour with your Egyptologist to the ancient capital Memphis and burial ground of Sakkara. After lunch at a traditional restaurant visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Overnight: Grand Nile Tower Hotel. (BL)

Day 3: Cairo to Luxor

Transfer to the airport for flight to Luxor, and on arrival transfer to the Nile Cruise boat for your 4-night cruise to Aswan. After lunch visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Dinner and overnight on the Sonesta Moon Goddess. (BLD)

Day 4: Valley of the Kings & Queens

This morning visit the West Bank to explore the burial grounds in the Valley of the Kings and a stop at Queen Hapshepsut’s temple. Lunch is taken back on board with an afternoon at leisure while the boat sails to Esna and crosses the Lock. Dinner and overnight on cruise boat. (BLD)

Day 5: Edfu

Today visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the largest and most preserved. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board. (BLD)

Day 6: Kom Ombo to Aswan

Today you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek, before sailing on to Aswan and final night on board. (BLD)

Day 7: Aswan to Cairo

Disembark and visit the High Dam and Philae Temple before transferring to Aswan Airport and flight to Cairo. On arrival into Cairo you will be met and transferred to the Grand Nile Tower Hotel for overnight. (B)

Day 8: Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo

Today enjoy a privately guided full day tour with your Egyptologist to the Egyptian Museum and the Old Cairo with its Citadel, Mosque and the ancient bazaar of Khan-el-Khalili. Lunch will be taken at a traditional restaurant. Overnight: Grand Nile Tower Hotel.(BL)

Day 9: Cairo

Transfer to the airport for departing flight. (B)
