Day 1: Windhoek - Kalahari Desert

This morning depart Windhoek and travel into the Kalahari Desert and the fauna and flora that have survived this environment for thousands of years. Overnight at Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Day 2: Kalahari Desert - Fish River Canyon

Travel south through rocky plains, visiting the unique Quiver Tree forest, and to the lodge situated in close vicinity to the Fish River Canyon. Overnight at Canon Road House. (B)

Day 3: Fish River Canyon - Aus

This morning starts on the edge of the canyon, a magnificent geological phenomenon, second largest in the world. Travel to the Karoo and overnight at Klein Aus Vista Desert Horse Inn. (B)

Day 4: Aus - Luderitz

Today travel to the coastal town of Luderitz and the ghost town of Kolmanskop abandoned to the desert sands. Visit Diaz Point, and the wild horses of the Namib Desert. Return to Aus for overnight at Klein Aus Vista Desert Horse Inn. (B)

Day 5: Luderitz – Namib Desert

After breakfast travel north to a lodge in the Namib Desert, gateway to the Sossusvlei and some of the highest sand dunes on earth. Spend the afternoon at leisure and overnight at Hammerstein Lodge. (B)

Day 6: Namib Desert - Sossusvlei

An early morning start to capture this awesome landscape and walk up one of the dunes. Visit the Sesriem Canyon, a natural phenomenon, in the heart of the desert. Overnight Namib Desert Lodge. (B)

Day 7: Sossusvlei - Swakopmund

After breakfast travel via the desolate, rolling hills of the Kuiseb Moon Valley towards the ocean and the lagoon of Walvis Bay where flamingoes can be in abundance. Rest of the day is at leisure in Swakopmund. Overnight at Schweitzerhaus Hotel. (B)

Day 8: Swakopmund

Today is at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer, ranging from dolphin cruises, desert tours and scenic flights to quad biking, paragliding, parachuting and kite-surfing. Overnight at Schweitzerhaus Hotel. (B)

Day 9: Swakopmund - Damaraland

Heading north, travel to Cape Cross and visit the fur seal reserve. Drive via the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain, into Damaraland, one of the least populated and geologically diverse regions in Africa. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the rare Desert Elephant and Black Rhino. Overnight at Mopane Lodge. (B)

Day 10: Damaraland - Etosha National Park

Start the day with a visit to the world heritage site of Twyfelfontein to view the rock art, some 2,500 prehistoric engravings. Explore the burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and Petrified Forest, all geological phenomena. After visiting a traditional Damaraland village travel to Etosha National Park. Overnight at Etosha Safari Camp. (B)

Day 11: Etosha National Park

Enjoy a full day within the park game viewing. Each waterhole experience is different with promises of great photographic opportunities and game sightings. Overnight at Etosha Safari Camp. (B)

Day 12: Etosha National Park

This morning enjoy another game drive in the Park. This afternoon travel to the lodge for an evening of leisure. Overnight at Ohange Lodge. (B)

Day 13: Etosha National Park – Otjihavera Mountain Range

Depart Etosha and travel south to a game farm situated amidst the scenic Otjihavera Mountains. Overnight at the Elegant Farmstead. (B)

Day 14: Otjihavera Mountain Range

Morning is at leisure to relax followed by an afternoon game drive in an open vehicle. Overnight at the Elegant Farmstead. (B)

Day 15: Otjihavera Mountain Range

Travel into the traditional homelands of the Herero people. Visit villages and projects of one of the oldest cultures in Namibia, followed by a short afternoon game drive. Overnight at the Elegant Farmstead. (B)

Day 16: Otjihavera Mountain Range - Windhoek

Travel to Windhoek where tour ends. (B)
