The cultural and artistic heritage of Morocco dates back over a thousand years with its African, European and Arabic influences. Explore this exciting destination of historical and colourful culture, traditions and imperial cities. Travel through Berber villages, trek in the Atlas Mountains and climb the dunes on the edge of the vast Sahara Desert. Stroll through the fascinating souqs and barter with the local shopkeepers, dine on the world famous and cuisine.

Day 1: Casablanca

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Casablanca to Marrakech

After breakfast, the tour starts with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, third largest mosque in the world, designed on a gigantic scale, with finely sculptured walls, granite pillars, and arches. This afternoon drive to Marrakech. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis. (B)

Day 3: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades

This morning take a scenic drive along the old tribal pass of the caravan route over the Atlas Mountains. Crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass at 2,260m, head south-east to the village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This afternoon continue to Ouarzazate, a major cultural centre, passing through picturesque Berber villages before ending the day in Boumalne. Overnight at Xaluca Dades Hotel. (BD)

Day 4: Boumalne Dades

Today you will be taken into the Atlas Mountains by 4WD vehicle, and a mule ride through gorges and streams to a small Berber village. This afternoon return to the hotel. Overnight at Xaluca Dades Hotel. (BD)

Day 5: Boumalne to Ouarzazate to Marrakeck

After breakfast drive to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, with its burning sands, snowy peaks, palm groves in verdant oases and sumptuous Kasbahs. After lunch continue to Marrakech through stretches of desert and farmland, following the river through picturesque Berber villages. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. (B)

Day 6: Marrakech

This morning enjoy a guided city tour. Centuries old and wrapped in mystery, Marrakech was founded on the cross roads of the ancient caravan routes. Step back in time to visit the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the Dar si Said museum, Bahia Palace and the Majorelle gardens. This afternoon stroll through the labyrinth streets of the souk. Overnight at Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. (B)

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast travel by road to Casablanca airport, where tours ends. (B)
