Day 1: Maun – Okavango Delta

On arrival in Maun you are met and enjoy lunch and a pre-departure briefing, before transferring by light aircraft into the Moremi Game Reserve. From here you travel by boat through the channels and lagoons to a pre-erected mobile camp on an Island. Enjoy the chance to see hippos, crocodiles and the birdlife endemic to the area. Day 2: Okavango Delta

Today explore the channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta by boat, with lunch being enjoyed either back at camp or on one of the Islands. (BLD)

Day 3: Okavango Delta

After breakfast return to the boat station and game vehicle for a day of game drives with a picnic lunch enroute to your next camp situated just outside the Moremi Game Reserve. With no fences between the Park and the private concession, the game drives can be thrilling. Overnight Camp Dizhana. (BLD)

Day 4: Okavango Delta

Spend the day exploring the Khwai floodplains with your guide. The serenity of the surrounding wilderness is overpowering, and a mokoro ride pays tribute to this. (BLD)

Day 5: Okavango Delta - Maun

After an early breakfast travel by road to a lodge located on the riverbank a short distance from Maun. A sundowner cruise rounds off the day. Overnight Crocodile Camp. (BLD)

Day 6: Maun - Okavango River

Transfer to the airport for a light aircraft flight into the panhandle of the Okavango where you board a houseboat. Capture the rhythms of the Delta and feel its heartbeat as you journey down the river. Late afternoon sundowners are served as you marvel at the African sunset. Overnight Ngwesi Houseboat. (BLD)

Day 7: Okavango River

Activities today include birding and fishing. With over 400 species of birds, this area is one of the top bird watching spots in the world. Tiger and Bream fishing excursions are offered on tender boats to explore the Delta with its countless channels, floating islands and fertile banks. (BLD)

Days 8 and 9: Okavango River – Central Kalahari Game Reserve

After breakfast, moor and transfer back to the airstrip for a light aircraft flight to the unique and untamed Central Kalahari Reserve. Here explore the area around Deception Valley, looking for the large herds of antelope that inhabit this desert terrain. Overnight camping. (BLD)

Day 10: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Today transfer by road to Haina Kalahari Lodge, a classically African, relaxed and informal safari tented property. Enjoy sundowners and dinner before taking a night drive to explore the magic of the nocturnal creatures in the area. (BLD)

Day 11: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Enjoy a guided walk as your guide unfolds the tracks and signs of the wilderness. Experience the magic and culture of the Bushman as they share their world of survival in the desert. (BLD)

Day 12: Central Kalahari Game Reserve - Maun

This morning enjoy the last memorable game drive before breakfast, and a scenic flight transfer back to Maun airport. (B)

Chobe National Park - Ngoma Safari Lodge


A rustic five star bush property, Ngoma is situated within the Chobe Forest Reserve bordering the Chobe National Park, with panoramic views overlooking the Chobe River and Caprivi Floodplain. The eight spacious, river facing suites have external living areas, bath, inside and outside showers, overhead fans, air-conditioning, and an open lounge. As the lodge is in the Chobe Forest Reserve, activities include guided walks, day and night drives and a full day activity that includes cruising on the river and drives within the National Park.
