Lebala Camp is situated in the south of the Kwando Concession, adjacent to the head waters of the Linyanti marshes that form the boundary between Botswana and Namibia. The southerly flowing Kwando River disappears into the vast marshland before emerging as the Linyanti River. The triangle formed by this vast wetland is home to the Mamili National Park in Namibia.

Lebala is the Tswana word for wide-open plains, and each tent has extensive views over expansive tracts of African plains and wetlands, that form part of the Kwando-Linyanti flood plain system. Here is an intricate labyrinth of waterways, reed beds, islands, floodplains, bush, scrub and trees. Lebala Camp offers eight luxurious tents, on raised teak decks, comprising of a spacious bedroom area, bathroom with tub and outside reeded shower, especially designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy. Activities include game drives and seasonal guided walks.
The camp itself is comprised of eight custom designed tents, with unique mosquito net walls, allowing an unobstructed flow of cooling breezes and stunning views. Each spacious tent has its own viewing deck, bathroom and luxurious double outside showers.
Depart Maun by light aircraft to Lebala Camp. Upon arrival you are met and transferred to the camp. Dinner and overnight at Lebala Camp. (D)
Full day of game activities in the Park with all meals and overnight at Lagoon Camp. Walking in Africa's wild areas is the only way to truly appreciate the natural environment. The slow pace of the walk and interpretative skills of your guide will open your eyes to a new and fascinating world. Walks may be limited in the dry season at Lebala and Lagoon camps due to the large elephant population in the region at that time. (BLD)
