KwaZulu-Natal is a place of great scenic beauty, from mountains and midlands to pristine beaches, it is a natural splendour combined with a rich culture and historical heritage. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Zulu culture at villages around the province, while extensive battlefields tourism routes bring the famous Zulu-Boer-British wars to life. The cultural heritage also includes the San (Bushmen), with tens of thousands of rock paintings to be seen in the World Heritage Site of the Drakensberg Mountains. The area offers walking, hiking and adventure activities

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

This morning depart Johannesburg for the drive to the Kruger Park via the scenic Panorama Route, visiting Pilgrims Rest, Graskop, God’s Window and magnificent waterfalls. After check in at Hippo Hollow Country Estate you embark on an evening game drive in the Park, followed by dinner back at the lodge. (D)

Days 2 & 3: Kruger National Park

Enjoy guided game drives in open 4X4 safari vehicles. Overnight at Hippo Hollow Country Estate. (BD)

Day 4: Kruger National Park - Zululand

After breakfast drive towards Zululand and this afternoon check into the Rhino River or Ubizane Safari Lodge where the remainder of the day will be at leisure before enjoying dinner at the lodge. (BD)

Day 5: Zululand

After breakfast take a boat cruise on the St Lucia Wetlands. This will be followed by a visit to a crocodile farm and then on to Dumazulu Village, where you will experience true culture of the Zululand region. After a full day of touring through the major attractions, return to the lodge for dinner. Overnight at Rhino River or Ubizane Safari Lodge. (BD)

Day 6: Zululand

Today there will be morning and afternoon game drives, with one on the Ubizane Reserve and the other in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Overnight at Rhino River or Ubizane Safari Lodge. (BD)

Day 7: Zululand - Durban

After breakfast drive to Durban where the tour ends. (B)
