Kariega Game Reserve

Ukhozi Lodge offers 10 spacious, air-conditioned luxurious suites with private plunge pools and spectacular African-style lodges and an outdoor pool.

Main Lodge comprises of spacious and comfortable air-conditioned log chalets, all ensuite, with private viewing decks. The lodge and pool are expertly integrated with the surrounding bush. There is also a Wellness centre and spa to relax in.

River Lodge is a 5-star quality Lodge built on the banks of the Bushmans River and comprises 10 superbly appointed spacious air-conditioned thatched suites and outdoor heated pool. The lodge overhangs the river and enjoys spectacular views.

The Homestead is a private lodge with five spacious, ensuite bedrooms and is perfect for the sole use of a group or family of up to 10 persons.

Day 1: Port Elizabeth Airport - Kariega Game Reserve

On arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport you will be met and transferred to Kariega Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight Ukhozi Lodge / Main Lodge / River Lodge / The Homestead. (LD)

Day 2: Kariega Game Reserve

Full day of game activities as outlined below in the game reserve with all meals. A typical day at Kariega Game Reserve: 0600 hours: Depart for an early morning game drive and river cruise; 0900 hours: Return to your Lodge for a late, but hearty breakfast; 1030 hours: Enjoy a walk, go canoeing, have a swim or just relax; 1300 hours: Savour the flavours of a well earned lunch; 1430 hours: Siesta time. Or relax and take in the view; 1600 hours: Depart for an evening game drive; 1930 hours: Return to the lodge for your evening meal in either the Boma or the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy a variety of other activities which include guided walks, fishing, spa (at an additional cost) and visits to the nearby beaches of Kenton-on-Sea.
