All eight rooms in each lodge are under thatch and equipped with underfloor heating and fireplaces for the winter months, and air-conditioning and ceiling fans during summer. With low stone walls and canvas panels that roll up, the lodges really let the outside in, making for a unique African bushveld experience from the luxury of your room. Day 1: Johannesburg Airport - Madikwe Game Reserve

On arrival at Madikwe Game Reserve airstrip you will be met and transferred by road to Jaci’s Safari & Tree Lodge. Dinner and overnight Jaci’s Safari & Tree Lodge Lodge. (LD)

Day 2: Madikwe Game Reserve

Full day of game activities as outlined below in the game reserve with all meals. Apart from their unique surroundings and comfortable, well-appointed accommodation, twice-daily game drives into the 75 000-hectare Madikwe Game Reserve are the main draw card at Jaci’s Lodges. Game drives take place when the likelihood of sightings is at its highest – early morning and late afternoon. Winters are dry and evening temperatures may drop to 0°C, while the wet summers are characterized by daily highs of up to 38°C. Game drives take into account these shifts in temperature, to ensure that guests are in no discomfort while out on a drive. The morning drive leaves after a light breakfast at first light, while the later drive usually departs around 15h00 to 15h30, depending on the season. Each drive lasts for three-and-a-half hours on average, but if a spectacular or unusual sighting is made, it could last longer. Overnight at Jaci’s Safari & Tree Lodge. (BLD)

Day 3: Madikwe Game Reserve - Johannesburg Airport

After breakfast you will be transferred to Madikwe Game Reserve airstrip. (B)
