The cultural and artistic heritage of Morocco dates back over a thousand years with its African, European and Arabic influences. Explore this exciting destination of historical and colourful culture, traditions and imperial cities. Travel through Berber villages, trek in the Atlas Mountains and climb the dunes on the edge of the vast Sahara Desert. Stroll through the fascinating souqs and barter with the local shopkeepers, dine on the world famous and cuisine.

After breakfast enjoy a city tour of Casablanca with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, the Justice Courts and the Habous Quarters before driving along the coast to Rabat, twice the imperial capital in the past and now the administrative capital of Morocco. Visit the highlights of the Royal Palace Gardens, the Hassan tower, Mohamed V Mausoleum, Oudaya Gardens and the old settlement of Chellah. Overnight at Tour Hassan Hotel. (BD)
This morning travel to Meknes, the capital during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail in the seventeenth century. Visit Bab Mansour the largest and most striking of Meknes’ many gates, the Berrima quarters and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, before driving on to nearby Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins and the hilltop tomb of Moulay Idriss, two of the most historic sites in Morocco. Continue to Fez for dinner and two nights at the Ramada Hotel. (BD)
Today spend a full day in the second largest and oldest of the imperial cities. It is the Islamic capital of the country. The Medina of the old town is one of the largest surviving medieval cities in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Mosque and the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, Bou Inania and Attarine Medersa together with the Nejjarine Fountain, the souks and Royal Palace Gardens and surrounds. This morning drive to Marrakech through the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mountains via the city of Beni Mellal situated at the foot of Mount Tassemit, next to the plains of Beni Amir. Arrive into Marrakech for dinner and two nights at the Es Saadi Hotel. (BD)
This morning enjoy a guided city tour with its historical sites of the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the Dar si Said museum, Bahia Palace, souks and the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. (BD)
