Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei

The flight departs Windhoek at 0900 hours and travels over the great escarpment into the vicinity of Sossusvlei, an area in the Namib Desert with some of the highest dunes on earth. On landing you transfer by vehicle to the lodge and enjoy the tranquility at leisure. Overnight at Sossusvlei Lodge. (D)

Days 3 & 4: Sossusvlei - Swakopmund

After breakfast you transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Swakopmund. The flight takes you over the dune landscape of the oldest desert on earth, and along the Atlantic coastline. Enjoy sights such as old diamond ghost mines and ancient shipwrecks from a birds-eye perspective. On arrival you have time at leisure to participate in the many optional and varied activities this coastal town has to offer. Overnight at Swakopmund Guesthouse. (B)

Day 5: Swakopmund - Damaraland

This afternoon your flight continues north into Damaraland, an area marked by steep mountain massifs that tower over meandering riverbeds and form the survival structure for Desert Elephant, Black Rhino and many free-roaming antelope species. The highlight, Twyfelfontein, represents Namibia’s only world heritage site and belongs to one of the world’s largest rock-art sites. Alternatively explore the landscape on foot or take an optional guided game drive. Overnight at Camp Kipwe. (BD)

After a short flight you arrive at Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. Relax on the private reserve or embark on an optional guided tour into the park. Overnight at Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa. (BD)

Days 7 & 8: Etosha National Park

Take the opportunity of optional game drives into the park itself with its rich diversity of wildlife. The Etosha Pan, a vast saline desert that shimmers with heat during the day, is surrounded by a number of waterholes that sustain over 114 different types of animals as well as 340 different bird species. Overnight at Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa. (BD)

Day 9: Etosha - Windhoek
