Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei

Depart Windhoek this afternoon and travel into the Namib Desert, the oldest and driest desert on earth. Experience the petrified dune landscape on a guided nature drive and a sundowner on one of the dunes, time permitting. Overnight at Namib Desert Lodge.

Day 2: Sossusvlei

Travel into the heart of the desert and experience the Sossusvlei or surreal Dead Vlei on foot. Enjoy a picnic lunch before visiting the gaping Sesriem Canyon. Overnight at Namib Desert Lodge. (B)

Day 3: Sossusvlei - Swakopmund

Today travel via the Namib Naukluft Park, the Ghaub and Kuiseb canyons to Swakopmund, where there is the option of participating in any of the activities on offer such as scenic flights or dolphin cruises. Overnight at Hansa Hotel. (B)

Day 4: Swakopmund

Today is at leisure. Stroll through the historic town with its colonial buildings, take any optional activities, or simply relax by the beach. Overnight at Hansa Hotel. (B)

Day 5: Swakopmund - Windhoek

Today you transfer back to Windhoek by shuttle bus and end of tour. Option to take the luxury train overnight service at an additional cost, subject to availability. (B)
