Step back in time as you visit some of the highlights of Egypt and experience a bygone era in some of the most famous and historical hotels in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.

Day 1: Cairo

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Mena House Oberoi Hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum

Today your full day privately guided tour with your Egyptologist includes visits to the Pyramids of Giza, considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the mysterious Sphinx carved from a single block of stone Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum and lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight: Mena House Oberoi. (BL)

Day 3: Cairo to Luxor

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor where on arrival you transfer to the Sofitel Winter Palace Hotel for overnight. (B)

Day 4: Luxor

Today enjoy a privately guided tour of the East and West Banks with your Egyptologist – the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Necropolis of Thebes with the Valley of Kings and Queens and the Colossi of Memnon. A highlight is Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, which rises out of the desert in a series of terraces that merge with the surrounding limestone cliffs. Overnight: Sofitel Winter Palace. (BL)

Day 5: Luxor to Aswan

Today travel by road to Aswan. There is the opportunity to visit Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way at an additional cost. Overnight: Sofitel Old Cataract Hotel. (B)

Day 6: Aswan to Cairo

This morning visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Temple of Philae before transferring to Aswan Airport for flight to Cairo and end of tour. (B)
