Day 1: Victoria Falls

Transfer on arrival from Victoria Falls Airport to Ilala Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (D)

Day 2: Victoria Falls

The morning is at leisure to explore the Falls, just a short stroll away. This afternoon enjoy an Elephant Back safari followed by safari sundowners and snacks. Overnight at Ilala Lodge. (B)

Day 3: Victoria Falls

This morning walk with lions on the “Lion Encounter” at Masuwe followed by a full breakfast. Afternoon at leisure to explore the local markets or take an optional helicopter ‘Flight of Angels’ over the Falls. Overnight at Ilala Lodge. (B)

Day 4: Victoria Falls - Chobe National Park

Transfer by road to Kasane and on by boat to Ichingo Chobe River Lodge. This afternoon take a boat trip, with sundowners on the river. Overnight at Ichingo Chobe River Lodge. (BLD)

Day 5: Chobe National Park

Morning and afternoon game activities as offered by the lodge. Overnight at Ichingo Chobe River Lodge. (BLD)

Days 6 & 7: Chobe National Park

After breakfast transfer to the Ichobezi Luxury Safari Boat and enjoy the activities on the water. Game viewing on the river and spend two nights on board the Ichobezi Houseboat. (BLD)

Day 8: Chobe National Park - Victoria Falls

Transfer by boat to Kasane immigration, and on by road to Victoria Falls Airport. (B)

Rovos Rail - Pretoria to Victoria Falls (vv)

This special 3-day adventure begins at Rovos Rail’s gracious station in Pretoria, departing in the morning and slowly meandering westwards through Mafikeng into Botswana. Travelling across the border into Zimbabwe, the train continues in a north-westerly direction passing Bulawayo and heading towards Hwange Game Reserve. Your journey’s end is the incomparable Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River.
