Day 1
Cairo
On arrival at the Cario airport you will be met and
guided through the immigration and customs formalities
then transferred to the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel.
Day 2
Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum
This morning with your Egyptologist guide you start your
full day tour of the Egyptian Museum, which contains the
world’s most spectacular collection of ancient Egyptian
treasures, the Pyramids of Giza, considered one of the
Seven Wonders of the World, and the inscrutable Sphinx.
Lunch is taken at a traditional restaurant. Overnight:

DAY 3 Cairo to Aswan
Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan where
you board your Nile cruise ship, the Oberoi Shehrayar.
Today you visit the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple and
the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient
Egyptians with most of the stone used to build their
monuments and temples. Lunch is served on board ship
while sailing to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated
to the crocodile-god Sobek.

DAY 4 Kom Ombo
Today you cruise to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom
Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Sail to Edfu.

DAY 5 Temple Of Horus At Edfu
After breakfast visit the largest and best preserved
Greekbuilt
temple in Egypt, the spectacular Temple of Horus. Cruise
to Luxor via the Esna Lock. This evening there will be a
traditional Egyptian Costume Party.
Overnight: Cruise Ship (BLD)
DAY 6 Valley Of The Kings & Luxor Temples
Visit the West Bank of the Nile to explore the ancient
Valley of the Kings. Here, magnificent tombs were carved
into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with
treasures by generations of Pharaohs. A highlight is
Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, which rises out of the desert
in a series of terraces that merge with the surrounding
limestone cliffs. On the way back to Luxor pass the huge
Colossi of Memnon. Explore the East Bank of the Nile
with your Egyptologist guide, starting with the graceful
Temple of Luxor. Visit the huge temple complex of
Karnak, built over a period of more than a thousand
years and dedicated to the God Amun. Transfer to Luxor
airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be met
and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 7 Cairo
After breakfast transfer to Cairo airport for your
departing flight (B)
