DAY 1- CAIRO
On arrival into Cairo airport you will be met and guided
through the immigration and customs formalities then
transferred to Concorde el Salam Hotel for overnight
stay.
DAY 2 - PYRAMIDS, MEMPHIS & SAKKARA
Your Egyptologist guide will accompany you on a full day
programme which starts with the Pyramids of Giza and the
inscrutable Sphinx. After lunch at a traditional
restaurant visit Memphis, which was once Egypt’s capital
city throughout the old Kingdom. You will also visit the
Royal burial ground at Sakkara and the Step Pyramid, the
oldest pyramid in the world.
Overnight: Concorde el Salam Hotel (BL)
DAY 3 - CAIRO
Spend the day at leisure or take an optional tour to the
Egyptian Museum, which contains the world’s most
spectacular collection of ancient Egyptian treasures.
Visit the
Citadel of Saladin, which was built at the end of the
12th century AD. This fortress contains the beautiful
Mosque of Mohamed Ali and boasts spectacular panoramic
views of Cairo. Overnight: Concorde el Salam Hotel (B)
DAY 4 - ONWARD FLIGHT
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to
Cairo airport to continue your journey. (B)
