Botswana covers around 580,000 square kilometres and has a population of around 1.5 million.

Whilst the official language is considered English the native language Setswana is still in common use by much of the population.

It’s two major tourist attractions are the Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta.

- Sunny all year round. Best game viewing months April to October. Most rain falls during the months of December to March.

Visa - No Visa is required for Australian passport holders.
Local Time - GMT plus two hours. Departure Tax - Included on tickets.

‘Following in the footsteps of Dr David Livingstone’- An en-suite mobile safari in secluded, exclusive bush camps situated in the famous Botswana Reserves and National Parks. A safari crew travelling in a separate vehicle pre-erects the comfortable camp. A professional safari guide conducts early morning and late afternoon game drives.

DAY 1: MAUN - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI
An air transfer from Maun takes us into Moremi where we are met by our guide for a short transfer to our pre-erected secluded bush camp. After a sunset game drive and a delicious three-course dinner you can take in the sounds of the African night. En-suite mobile safari. (LD).

DAY 2 - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI

The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a mokoro excursion with lunch being enjoyed on an island.We make our way back to our camp during an afternoon game drive, taking in the changing colours of an African sunset. En-suite mobile safari. (BLD).

DAY 3/4 - KHWAI AREA OF MOREMI

After breakfast, our safari crew expertly move our exclusive camp to the Khwai flood plains, while we continue to explore the reserve with our guide. Enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives, we uncover the secrets of this pristine wilderness area in search of the many species of animal and birdlife that make Moremi their home. En-suite mobile safari. (BLD).

DAY 5/6 - SAVUTE - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Continuing overland through the National Parks we visit the dry Savute Marsh and Savutechannel, famous for its abundance of large predators. This amazing area and its waterholes are uncovered during our early morning and late afternoon game drives with our guide. En-suite mobile safari. (BLD).

DAY 7/8 - CHOBE RIVER - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

After 2 nights at the Savute Channel, we travel north and install our bush camp near the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with the largest elephant population in Africa living in the region.We may witness huge herds during our game drives and an unforgettable game viewing sunset cruise on the Chobe River. DAY 9 - LIVINGSTONE / VICTORIA FALLS

Our safari culminates at Livingstone / Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable spectacles on earth. Time at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer including scenic flights, micro lighting, elephant back riding etc. and a visit to the Falls (own expense). Natural Mystic Lodge (or similar accommodation). (BLD).

DAY 10 - LIVINGSTONE / VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast we transfer to the airport where the safari ends. (B).

Serviced en-suite Mobile Safari: Secluded bush camps are used in the Botswana reserves. A safari team erects/ dismantles the camp and attends to all duties.
Accommodation: 8 nights dome tents furnished with 2 comfortable camp beds, linen, blankets, pillows, en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. 1 night at the Natural Mystic Lodge, Livingstone or similar.
Meals: All meals with mineral water & table wine for dinner included while on safari. Breakfast only in Livingstone / Victoria Falls.
Group size: 2-8 clients per vehicle. (2 vehicles may travel together on certain
departures).
Transfers: Airport transfers included in Maun & Livingstone / Victoria Falls day 1 and day 10
