CAMPING ADVENTURES
On a participation camping adventure your
participation and involvement is part of the fun. You assist
the guide with the making and breaking of camp, quickly and
easily erecting and dismantling your tent and other bush
camp essentials. A camp assistant/
cook helps with the cooking.

DAY 1 - CAPE TOWN
Depart on a full day peninsula tour via Hout Bay,
Chapmans Peak and Cape Point Nature Reserve. A morning
or afternoon cable car ride up Table Mountain is
included (weather dependent). Overnight at Breakwater
Lodge (or similar)
DAY 2 - NAMAQUALAND
Morning spent at leisure before departing for the West
Coast. Travelling north camp overnight in the heart of
the Namaqualand region. (BLD)
DAY 3 - FISH RIVER CANYON
Cross the border into Namibia and on to the Fish River
Canyon, which is one of the largest and most
awe-inspiring canyons in the world (BLD)
DAY 4/ 5 - SESRIEM/ SOSSUSVLEI
Travel north and camp on the edge of the Namib Desert.
Enjoy a sunset walk in the dunes and a visit to the
Sossusvlei. (BLD).
DAY 6 - SWAKOPMUND
Head to Swakopmund via Walvis Bay. Overnight in
bungalows or Guest house. (BL)
DAY 7 SWAKOPMUND
Day at leisure. Overnight in bungalows or Guest house
(No meals included)
DAY 8 - SPITZKOPPE
This morning view the lunar landscapes of Moon Valley
and the amazing Welwitschia plant. Camp overnight among
the boulders of the Spitzkoppe Mountains. (BLD)
DAY 9 - DAMARALAND / TWYFELFONTEIN
Today drive inland through the Damaraland region with
its vast and rugged terrain. Visit the Twyfelfontein
area for the Bushmen paintings & rock engravings. (BLD)
DAY 10 - HIMBA VISIT / ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Visit the Himba tribe, a semi-nomadic tribe, living in
scattered settlements throughout the region. Continue on
to Etosha National Park for your first game drive. (BLD)
DAY 11 / 12 - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives in
the Park. (BLD)
DAY 13/ 14 - OKAVANGO RIVER
Enter the Caprivi Strip and camp overlooking the
Okavango River. Enjoy a mokoro excursion with the
prolific bird and animal life of the area. (BLD)
DAY 15 - KWANDO RIVER - CAPRIVI
Drive to the banks of the Kwando River and camp
overnight. Enjoy an afternoon boat excursion and game
drive. (BLD)
DAY 16/ 17 - LIVINGSTONE/ VICTORIA FALLS
Travel across the border to Victoria Falls. Days are
spent at leisure. (BLD excluding 1X lunch & 1X dinner).
DAY 18 - CHOBE RIVER
Cross back into Botswana and camp on the banks of the
Chobe River. (BLD)
DAY 19 - NATA (MAKGADIKGADI PANS)
Travel to Nata. Visit the Makgadikgadi Pans (weather
permitting). (BLD)
DAY 20 - LIMPOPO AREA
The last night is spent camping near the mighty Limpopo
River. (BLD)
DAY 21 - JOHANNESBURG
Travel via the Jacaranda City of Pretoria, ending in
Johannesburg late afternoon. (BL).
