Adventure travel involves your participation in all aspects
of your safari, including food preparation, digging out
stuck vehicles etc.
With Adventure Accommodated Safaris, Tours and Adventures
you sleep in fixed accommodation (hotels, bungalows etc).
With Participation Camping Adventures you sleep in
tents that you help erect and pack up at each camp site.
Adventure vehicles are custom built all-terrain Mercedes Benz and Toyotas. They have forward facing seats, large sliding windows, game viewing hatches, observation roof racks, food freezers and coolboxes for drinks. Open game viewing vehicles are used in Botswana and Lower Zambezi.

experience Africa! Whether on a fully serviced classic
mobile safari or a participation camping adventure, nothing
can compare to sitting around a blazing campfire at night,
under a canopy of stars in a spectacular wilderness area,
listening to the sounds of Africa.
Tours comprise of small groups of 6 - 16 clients, international travellers and adventure
enthusiasts generally in the 25 – 60 year age group, with an
interest in nature and the outdoors.

We offer multi-country adventure tours
ranging from 14-25 days visiting diverse and exciting
destinations from Table Mountain and the winelands of the
Cape, to the highest sand dunes in the world in Namibia;
from the thrilling wildlife of Botswana to the mighty
Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe; canoeing down the Zambezi River
in Zambia or lazing on the tropical beaches of Moçambique –
Kiboko ! On a participation camping adventure your
participation and involvement is part of the fun. You assist
the guide with the making and breaking of camp, quickly and
easily erecting and dismantling your tent. A camp assistant/
cook helps with the cooking.
Tents are spacious ( W2.4m L2.4m H1.9m) accommodating 2 persons,
iis insect proof and equipped with a built-in ground sheet as well as two large aerating windows with mosquito nets. Each passenger is provided with a high density 6cm thick foam mattress and comfortable folding safari chair. A portable bush shower is available and bush toilet is installed when camping in the wild. All participants need to bring along are their personal effects and a sleeping bag and small pillow.

at the discerning traveller to Africa, wanting to get close
to nature and wildlife while retaining comfort and Luxury. The Fully Serviced Classic Mobile Safaris
use exclusive bush camps with
accommodation in luxury "Out of Africa" walk-in safari tents
with en suite facilities. The Serviced Safaris "Under canvas" range in length
from 5 – 15 days, with the guide and assistant/cook taking
care of all camp duties including erecting and dismantling
the tents. The small informal groups allow personal
attention.
