DAY 1 -
JOHANNESBURG - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Depart Johannesburg for the famous Kruger National Park.
Enjoy your first game drive in the late afternoon.
Overnight Kruger restcamp
DAY 2/ 3 - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Early morning and late afternoon game drives are taken
in the Park. Optional night drive or game walk (own
expense). Overnight Kruger restcamp (B).
DAY 4 - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - JOHANNESBURG - FLY TO
CAPE TOWN
Exit the Park after breakfast arriving back in
Johannesburg early afternoon for flight to Cape Town
(flight cost not included). Overnight Cape Town Hollow
or similar. (B).
DAY 5 - CAPE TOWN
Depart on a full day peninsula tour via Hout Bay and
Chapmans Peak, visiting the Cape Point Nature Reserve
and returning via Boulders Penguin Colony. A morning or
afternoon cable car ascent up Table Mountain is included
(weather dependent). Overnight Cape Town Hollow or
similar. (B)
DAY 6/ 7 - GARDEN ROUTE (KNYSNA)
Leaving Cape Town, drive along the Garden Route. A full
day is available to browse the charming town of Knysna
or a variety of optional activities are available.
Overnight Knysna Hollow or similar. (B)
DAY 8 - OUDTSHOORN
Heading inland to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass,
enjoy guided tours of an Ostrich Farm and the famous
Cango Caves. Overnight Queens Hotel or similar. (B)
DAY 9 - WINE ROUTE (STELLENBOSCH)
The journey takes you through a picturesque fruit and
wine-growing valley known as the longest wine route in
the world, "Route 62". Visit two wine farms for wine
tasting and explore the charming town of Stellenbosch.
Overnight Nuy Valley Guest House or similar. (B)
DAY 10 - CAPE TOWN
Departing the winelands after breakfast, drive back to
Cape Town ending the tour at around midday. (B)
This itinerary will depend on local conditions.
