DAY 1 - WINDHOEK

On arrival into Windhoek you will be transferred to the Hotel Safari for an overnight stay.

DAY 2/3/4 - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Travel to one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa - Etosha National Park. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. Overnight camping (BLD)

DAY 5 - OWAMBOLAND

Drive through "Owaboland" communal farming land of the Oshiwambo people. Overnight camping (BLD)

DAY 6 - KAOKOLAND - EPUPA FALLS

Epupa Falls are a series of cascades where the Kunene River drops and forms a multitude of channels and rock pools, with wonderful birdlife. Overnight camping (BLD)

DAY 7 - OPUWO

This morning visit a Himba village before driving on to Opuwo the capital of Kaokoland. The Himbas are a semi-nomadic tribe, who live in scattered settlements throughout the region. Overnight at Ohakane Lodge (BLD)

DAY 8 - DAMARALAND

An early morning drive to Damaraland. Experience the changing colours of the surrounding landscapes on a guided walk. Overnight camping (BLD)

DAY 9 - TWYFELFONTEIN - BRANDBERG

Visit the Twyfelfontein area with walks to view the ancient Bushman rock engravings, Organ Pipes, and the Burnt Mountain. Overnight camping. (BLD)

DAY 10 - SWAKOPMUND

Enroute to Swakopmund, visit Cape Cross Seal Colony, one of the largest mainland seal colonies in the world. On arrival in Swakopmund, time is spent at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities. Overnight Guest House. (BL)

DAY 11 - NAMIB NAUKLUFT PARK - GOBABEB RESEARCH CENTRE

Morning at leisure. This afternoon depart for the Namib-Naukluft Park where tonight is spent at Gobabeb Research Centre, situated on the Kuiseb River. In the late afternoon take a guided nature walk on the dune belt where there is a chance to spot various desert-adapted plants and animals. Overnight camping. (BD)

DAY 12/13 - NAMIB DESERT - SOSSUSVLEI

Early morning guided walk and station tour at Gobabeb before travelling to the next camp in the desert. The following day is an early start for Sossusvlei where the morning is spent walking amongst the dunes. On the way back to camp enjoy a short hike through the Sesriem Canyon. Overnight camping. DAY 14 - WINDHOEK

Arrival into Windhoek where the tour ends. (B)
