The Authentic Safari

A safari in the last, true wilderness of Africa - a photographer's delight! Discover the real Africa around the campfire at night beneath the stars, listening to the calls of the wild... in the heart of game country...experiencing only what a camping safari can offer - BUT without the work! Camp in secluded, exclusive bush camps within the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and Chobe National Park.

DAY 1 - LIVINGSTONE/VICTORIA FALLS

Start the trip in Livingstone / Victoria Falls and enjoy some of the many optional activities on offer here - from scenic flights, micro lighting, bunjy jumping, elephant back riding or walk with Lions. Overnight at Zambezi Waterfront, or similar accommodation. (D)

DAY 2/3/4 - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK and SAVUTE

This morning take a Cultural Village visit followed by an afternoon transfer by road to Chobe National Park, famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, and largest elephant population in Africa. Continuing overland visit the dry Savute Marsh and Savute channel, famous for its abundance of large predators. This amazing area is explored during early morning and late afternoon game drives (BLD)

DAY 5/6 - KHWAI AREA OF MOREMI

After breakfast, while the camp is moved to the Khwai flood plains, continue to explore the reserve with the guide, enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives. (BLD)

DAY 7/8/9 - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI

The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a mokoro excursion with a picnic lunch taken on an island. Return to camp after an afternoon game drive. (BLD)

DAY 10 - MAUN

The safari ends after breakfast with a final game drive enroute to Maun. (B)
