The Stanley Safari

Experience the real wilderness of Botswana on a mobile camping safari without losing the comfort of a camp bed and ensuite bathroom. Exclusive bush sites give the feeling of seclusion in the vast, untamed wilderness with sundowners and delicious "bush " dinners, served on a candlelit table beneath the stars. Game drives are led by experienced guides in specially adapted vehicles.

DAY 1 - MAUN - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI

Transfer by air from Maun into Moremi, the Gateway to the Okavango Delta, and on to the pre-erected secluded bush camp. After a sunset game drive and a delicious three-course dinner, the sounds of the African night can be enjoyed. (LD)

DAY 2 - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI

The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a mokoro excursion with lunch being enjoyed on an island. Return to camp with an afternoon game drive. (BLD)

DAY 3/4 - KHWAI AREA OF MOREMI

After breakfast, while the camp is moved to the Khwai flood plains, continue to explore the reserve with the guide, enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives. (BLD)

DAY 5/6 - SAVUTE - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Continuing overland, visit the dry Savute Marsh and Savute channel famous for its abundance of large predators. This amazing area is uncovered during early morning and late afternoon game drives (BLD)

DAY 7/8 - CHOBE RIVER - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

After two nights at the Savute Channel, travel north and camp near the Chobe River, famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with the largest elephant population in Africa living in the region. You may witness huge herds during the game drives and while enjoying a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. (BLD)

DAY 9 - LIVINGSTONE/VICTORIA FALLS

The safari ends in Livingstone / Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable spectacles on earth. Time today is at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer. Overnight at Natural Mystic Lodge, or similar accommodation. (BD)

DAY 10 - LIVINGSTONE/VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast take a visit to the Falls before transferring to the airport. (B)
